There has been a major change in the rules of LPG gas cylinders. If you are also an LPG consumer, then you should know that under the new rules, completing the e-KYC process by 30 November has been made mandatory.

LPG Gas Cylinder New Rules : More Than 6000 Consumers Have Not Completed e-KYC

In the Salooni subdivision, more than 6000 gas consumers have still not completed their e-KYC process at their respective gas agencies.

If these consumers fail to complete their e-KYC by 30 November, the gas agency will stop issuing cylinders as per the new rules. Moreover, for safety reasons, it has now been made compulsory for gas consumers to replace the rubber pipe every 5 years. Consumers who fail to do this may face strict action from the gas agency management.

Additionally, consumers must ensure that their mobile phone numbers are registered with the gas agency.

Important Update for Domestic Gas Consumers in Salooni Subdivision

The Salooni subdivision has a large number of domestic gas consumers, and more than 6000 of them have not completed the e-KYC process. This is causing several issues during cylinder distribution.

According to the agency manager, even after repeated reminders and remarks on gas cards, many consumers are still not visiting the agency for e-KYC. Therefore, it has been clarified that if consumers do not complete their e-KYC by 30 November, cylinder refills will be stopped as per the new rules.

The SDM of Salooni has also confirmed that e-KYC is mandatory for all domestic gas consumers, and consumers should visit the gas agency and complete their e-KYC using their registered mobile numbers.
